I was born in Missoula. My brother lives in Frenchtown and is looking forward to leaving and not being required to shovel snow for an extended portion of his lifetime.

I can even drive my truck on ice and snow....I just do not like to put chains on in the cold.
I do find that the automatic 4WD on a car is a joke and would rather have manual 4WD.

I lived in eastern Washington for 8 years. There was ice on the roads from Late December till almost March.

It's not too **** to drive in if you know your car's limits. Most folks push it to the limit then they get into trouble... even worse if both hands aren't on the wheel.

Yes I can but I move very slowly and carefully. Ice scares me both driving and
walking on it.

I grew up in eastern Montana. Duh! I have spent the last 36 years in the Texas Panhandle. Lots of snow and ice to hone my skills on. My problem is all the mouth-breathers who do not know how. That is the most dangerous factor in the equation.

I grew up driving in it but at this point I might need some practice to be proficient again.

If you can't get traction, then your wheels just spin.

I don't even try. When it snows around here usually there are numerous vehicles that *** up in the bar ditch. My husband has 4 wheel drive on his truck and jeep so if I have to go anywhere I get him to drive me or I stay my **** at home.

We don't get a lot of snow where I live. If it is more than I can handle I call into work "I can't get out of my driveway". My employer lives across the highway from me so lying is out of the question.

I've lived in the North East my whole life. Dealing with snow and ice is an annual event. You just have to use extra caution, avoid huge hills, etc. Most importantly, don't panic.

I LOVE driving in the snow! I'm good at it! Nobody can drive on ice skillfully UNLESS they are using traction devices and being VERY CAREFUL!
