i think religion might help people not smoke but not all atheists have bad habits. most the ones i know are very scientific and are aware of the damage cigerettes can cause so therefore keep away from them.

I had a friend that was in a situation similar to yours, she wasn't quite addicted but would accept cigarettes if offered to her once she stopped buying her it, it takes her quite a bit of will-power to say no.
It's always easier to quit young :)

The longer you smoke those things, the ****** it will be when you DO want to quit. Quit now while it's easier. You don't sound like you really like it much, so give quitting a shot; you have nothing to lose but your enslavement to cigaretes.
