Are Women Attracted To Taller Guys?

Do most gals find a guy who is not just a little taller but 6+ inches taller than yourself more attractive?

6 foot is about average in America but I find in some parts of the country there are more taller men then in others..why I dont know... The northeast seems to have more tall people and in the west coast it seems there are more shorter people.

Taller men able to wrap a girl up in their arms and slow dancing is better with a tall man!! =)
At 6'3" I can tell you tallness does attrack women...size does matter!!! lol

Okay. For serious. I think women like men who are fit enough for *** (reproduction) and to provide for their physical security, as well as financial.

Then comes the emotional stuff.- but only after the basic needs are met.

Not at all. My husband is 5 feet 7 and 1/2 inches (4 inches taller than me). He's shorter than most other guys I know, but I would prefer him over any taller guy. Height is probably the absolute least important thing about a man. So much more important is his sweetness, sense of humor, passion, loving heart, that he takes good care of me and treats me like a lady and that he loves me with his entire heart and soul and makes me so happy. I like it too that he's not too much taller than me and we fit together perfectly in every way.

I'm 5 ft 2 1/2 inches and prefer taller, in fact it is a must! I average 6'3 with a guy. I prefer 6'4 but those are ****** to find! I have dated guys a foot taller since I was in junior high!

I have always dated women shorter then myself by about a foot. Even in high school I was already about 6'2" and my sweetheart was only 4'11" that was a little too short. Now at a little over 6'3" and 250lbs I have the build of a linebacker and I like women that are between 5'2 - 5'6" all the more better to wrap them up in a my arms! Dancing is better when she can rest her head on your shoulder or chest gives the man a feeling of being a man! Rather then the other way around!!

Yes I like tall guys. Not excessively tall, but tall all the same. My boyfriend is 6'2" and I'm 5'6". (: Not to be mean but I find shortness in a guy to be a major turn off. :/

Definitely yes ! I am 6'4" and have had at least one hundred women want to hug me and tell me they feel safe in my arms. I am not Brad Pitt looking by far, and never once did I initiate the hugging, but my wife's friends search me out to get a hug when we are at a party or something public.
I have many friends that are jealous that I get hugged so much, and have had to ask a couple women to quit hugging me as their significant others have gotten ******.
So YES ! From my point of view...many ( not all ) women are attracted to taller men simply for the security aspect of feeling safe.

I am 6'4" and I have to think that my height DID attract my super spicy brown girl - who is a petite 5'2"! Yeah, a 14 inch difference between us. The other day a colleague walking out of work while we were walking in stopped, looked at us, and said "You two look funny! I never see you both together!"

Funny how little height seems to matter to guys, though, right? I don't remember ever hearing a guy friend say a girl needs to be tall or short to get his attention.

Tall guys DO have a little bit of an edge, I think, when it comes to first attraction. Being the tallest person in the room is a very noticeable trait.
