At what age are you considered middle aged?

I have been looking this up and asking around. I get so many different answers. Some say 30-35 others say 35-40. What do you think?

Men live to be about 78. Women live to be about 80. The middle for those is 39 and 40 so I would say 35-45.

Well, being in my 50s, I would say now, but... I've heard they've moved it up to 65 or something.

I thought it was now considered about 60-65 because people live so much longer. Personally, I don't think you can say until you die... and divide that age in half.

I would have said 50 but with people living longer, it could be 65-70
Middle age is a **** one - it's like trying to find the exact point of the middle in a circle. You think you know where it is but you doubt yourself

40 to 60 was middle age
60 up is elderly
