Florida! I thought I would love California but I didn't. The ocean was freezing and too rough. Florida has beautiful water and it's much warmer. I used to think I would move to California one day but after visiting once, no way.

I lived there back when Brown was governor the first time and it was wonderful and had the best education system in the country. Then Prop 13 and Reagan robbed the State of funding and it has been downhill since, But now Brown is back. He fixed the economy and turned a huge deficit into a surplus. Too many people but much more diversity and different things to see and do than Florida, and it doesn't get so ****** hot (unless you go out in the desert) and humid with bugs the size of small dogs.

For all of you out there in Florida, ....DON'T TAKE ME WRONG AT WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY...

i would like to visit Disney World, but don't want to live there... Matter of Fact..... I live in California....AND WISH I COULD MOVE OUT OF THE STATE... We are over run with Illegals and idiot drivers who drive too slow.... Crime is soaring and the STATS show that most of the crime is happening from the Illegals and the Hispanic communities

Disneyland is nice to visit...... and the Redwoods are Great.. but we have a crappy Governor named "Brown"nose (Moonbeam) and he's just like Obama.

Obama is trying to destroy the Country, and Governor Brown just about destroyed the State

Gov. Brown has done pretty good fixing Schwartzneggers messes and turning a $25 billion deficit into a $851 million surplus. http://www.thedailybeast.com/...

Yes the Southern part is pretty overcrowded and nuts but the Northern part is beautiful, and the beaches are great all the way up the coast. Just don't Californicate Oregon If you move don't come here.

Thanks to The Fed-inspired fast-money flood driving up ***** prices, owning or even renting a home has become unaffordable to most. Working a 40-hour-week, a single-earner in D.C. would need to be paid a $28.25 minimum wage for afford to rent a home...

.........and if you live in California (and earn minimum wage), you will need to work 18.6 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week to afford rent. Thank you Ben Bernanke and Janet Yellen... (and Gov Moonbeam too).

I've been to both and I love the scenery in California more than Florida. The weather is a given as well. Florida just gets to humid and from what I've seen they are neck and neck with illegals from the Southern Hemisphere.

Hmmm... When I was in Florida (with the Army) we walked through swamps for 3 weeks and I had leeches in THE worst places! When I went to California (with the Army), we'd go to Death Valley several times in the summer. One time, I awoke (sleeping in the NTC rock mounds) with a huge rattlesnake curled up 18 inches from my face/head. So, for me, its **** to choose between these two lovely places.

I've never had the opportunity to visit California, but I have a friend who lives there and he has never been that happy about his move there. However, I have been to Florida several times and it looks like the place I would like to move to in my retirement. I have several friends and family that already live there and no one has any complaints!

California has the glitz, the scenery and the wealthy elite.
But Florida has more jobs, lower cost of living, lower taxes and more freedom.

Preferrably neither. CA's taxations to support outrageous benefits for government employees will bankrupt it in time. Fla's weather *****.
