Whether a person carries a gun or not has no effect on whether I can trust them. If they are someone I can trust, then I can trust them with or without a gun. If they are someone that I cannot trust, the I can't trust them with nor without a gun.

I know two people with guns. One of them hasn't had hers out in about 10 years since she went target shooting with a then boyfriend. I trust her completely. The other person--no way.

Personally I wouldn't trust myself with a gun, that's why I will never get one.

This is my rifle...this is my gun...this is for fighting...this is for...fundamentally, I trust any law-abiding citizen who handles a firearm in a safe and responsible manner...

I grew up in the west and guns were very ordinary to us. We knew how to load and shoot them and the responsibilities of gun ownership. I interrupted a home invasion at my home with my shot gun. It is unfortunate that too many of us equate a gun with crime. Most of the guns used in gang shootings and other crimes are stolen with the serial numbers filed off. They are not those of responsible gun owners.

You can't trust someone who thinks turning a gun sideways is an appropriate way to use the tool.

Of course not. But that pretty much goes for those who aren't carrying either.

I TOTALLY TRUST MY SON WHO WAS A SOLDIER, NOW A VETERAN.

HE PROTECTED AND STILL KEEPS PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM. YOU CAN TRUST

ME: I WAS AN ARMY RANGER SOCIAL WORKER. I GAVE MY LIFE TO PROTECT

THE WEAK, THE DEFENSELESS; I GAVE MY SHIRT OFF MY BACK TO NEEDY FOLKS,

I GIVE AWAY HALF MY FOOD TO FEED THE HUNGRY. I STAND BY MY WORDS MY

WHOLE LIFE, AND I'LL USE MY GUN TO PROTECT MY HOME AND COUNTRY. DON'T

TRUST SUICIDE BOMBERS Who CARRY NO GUNS But CAN KILL THOUSANDS PLUS.

It is not the gun that makes a person untrustworthy.
It is untrustworthy people misusing guns who allow some fanatics to attempt to portray all sun owners as somehow frightening.

Ownership of a gun has nothing to do with trusting them.

I trust no one. However, I would rather take my chances with an armed partner than an unarmed partner. For the same reasons I prefer to live where the laws favor law abiding citizens and not criminals, criminals prefer to live where there is gun control.

I trust many people that carry as police and legal carriers, I have no problem with legal carriers. Worry about the criminals that will have them even if banned, they are the problem not us.

Some people think it would reduce gun related crimes. I see druggies everywhere, and drugs are illegal. Thinking isn't their strong point.

Nope, it sure isn't. Criminals and the government the only ones with guns, good idea (liberal logic).

One of the reasons why our founding fathers wanted us to have this right, is to be able to stand up against big government. They obviously wouldn't give up this right this easily.

I tote a gun. You can trust me, up until you pull a blade or gun on me. Then you can kiss you *** goodbye.

A firearm wouldn't really effect someone's trustworthiness... I either trust them or I don't, there aren't many people I trust though.

Yes why not? I'm ex-military and I carried a loaded weapon all the time and so did a lot of my friends.
Trusting some one carrying a weapon is no different then trusting the drivers of cars not to suddenly run you over when you cross a cross walk.

I don't trust people with or without a gun.

There are a few I trust, me, myself and I.
