I not only are some of my best friends have mental disabilities but I've also mentored plenty more with the idea of helping them to discover what their strengths and weaknesses are. Besides, normal people don't exist anyway.

Which is to say, we get along tolerably well, and I don't treat them any differently than I would anyone else.

I am friends with several, I used to supervise all of the group homes in the county where I live, and have remained friends with a lot of my former clients.

If you meant to ask if I have/had any friends with 'mental disabilities,' the answer is yes. Each of us has 'mental disabilities' to one degree or other. 'Normal' is a setting on a washing machine. :-)
