I don't see why not. I am single and adopted a teen in '02 when her mother died. But I was thoroughly checked out by police department and DSS before the court granted me custody. There were a lot of hoops to jump through but it was worth it.

Circumstances has a lot to do with men adopting ********, and some men are quite capable and qualified.

Although I, as a single man, would adopt a ***** I wouldn't pass a law that would allow for leisure adoptions. If they were to implement a policy like that I would insist that complete and thorough background checks, as well as psychological testing be done on prospective single male adoptors.

Just because a man is a single father does not mean he is going to molest his *****. My husband would be a great single father if need be (and we have a daughter). Maybe you should never have kids.
