I seem to fall in the last category. Lucky for me I had some ex girlfriends who went detail about all kinds of personal flaws lol. Oh well, take a lesson. I fixed up what I could and tried again :-).

Seems to me that those that worry the most about their own shortcomings are some of the strongest people I know.

The ones that really irritate me are the ones that can't see any of their own flaws and there is no shortage of those kinds of people.

That's a really unique and smart way of looking at it. Gives me some food for thought. Thank you Peapod, for that wonderful compliment. :)

My life experience my friend. We are very **** on ourselves. Those that are truly weak are not!

I guess it does take a certain toughness to see flaws and strive for improvement. I know it is not fun.

None of it is easy and you have been through a physical trauma that can really turn you upside down. Other than my youthful looks, you couldn't pay me to go back to being young. Age really does come with wisdom and a lot less anxiety.

Looking in the mirror is very ****,and correcting what you see is even ******. I hope so, and I wouldn't mind peace and stability thrown in the mix either.

You will get there. Remember, you have been through something and it takes time to heal. You will get stronger with each thing you survive. Your heart is already in the correct place.

I think life really becomes a beautiful thing when you can look back and see where you went wrong, what you were responsible for (and not), and see what you did to overcome it. I feel very lucky to have great insight on myself. Some of my greatest teachers were exes and people and experiences that were not so pleasant.

Hahaha. Don't laugh, but I was sitting there with my other half watching Pooh just the other night. Since we got home from Disney, we sometimes put some of the sillier things from Netflix on late night. It really de-stresses us. We are both big kids at heart.

No, I don't' think so. If I was would I know it?
You can often think of a simple way around a obstacle, and it's easier to move on than to raise a fuss over all he little things.

While I do occasionally complain it solves nothing.

It is interesting, how I try to always be positive and not complain about my problems. I tend to be very bubbly and charming......however many people will ask how it is that I seemingly have no problems, some people even complain on my behalf, which is so weird!!!

I have to watch myself, because of the depression, and being a half empty type of person. And NO it is not fulfilling by any means.

I have my moments, but never on a constant basis. I know it would make my own life miserable and those around me miserable.

Remembering my blessings when I am really down is how I keep my glass at least "half full".

Think of it this way Peas. You have a glass half full of liquid (blessings) and a half full glass of air (hope).
You have a WHOLE glass full!

Only liberals and socialists ****** I'm complaining. Telling the truth, with substantive facts to back you up is not "complaining" - it's acknowledging our reality. If you leftists hates hearing about it so much, stop putting economy-destroying Marxists in the White House and Congress. Problem solved! See!!! No complaining!

Nothing better to unwind than to be a kid again. It reminds us all of simpler times passed.
