Sprinkle dehydrated onions into the mixture along with "Mixed up Salt", knead thoroughly, then cook them on the George Forman grill. You'll have delicious burgers that are very healthy (with the grease removed into the grease pans).

Cognito22's Favorite Meatballs

2 lbs. lean hamburger
1 egg
1 bottle Chili Sauce
1 jar Red Currant Jelly
Seasoning....I use seasoned salt, pepper, a small amount of bread crumbs, a dash of Balsamic vinegar...

Mix hamburger, egg, and seasoning. Make small meatballs.

In a pot, add chili sauce, red currant jelly and refill the chili sauce bottle with water and also add. Bring to a boil.
Drop meatballs in.
Cover and simmer one hour, stirring occasionally.

Serve over rice or noodles or as appetizer (with toothpicks in them).

What we call American Chop Suey in my house. Fresh chopped Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste, add hamburger meat and cook through until brown but don't overcook. Add spaghetti sauce, I like garden vegetable and some chopped cherry tomatoes, and stir til hot. Throw in cooked shell or regular medium macaroni, mix together and serve with crusty bread or some toasted Texas Toast. I add Parmesan Cheese too. Tastes great as a leftover too ! Or tacos, meatloaf, meatballs, hamburger on the grill.
