I wish universal health care was approved, yet The obama care that is not universal health care we have some benefits that are good for all of us, yet many things in there that I don't agree. We as people should always agree and vote for something that are beneficial for all of us as citizen individually, yet we are so narrow minded that our ego is much stronger than our heart as human being. I know 100% if Universal Health care would of pass fully. today America will be different, we would have more money in our packets, we didn't have to worry about copay's, ditactables, everything will be cover, like government and anyone in the military has, don't you see. They use Universal Health Care for them, yet we don't that is why they don't care. is not call Universal Health care yet it works the same way. ask any military or any in congress. why we cant and they can.

Good idea about insurance companies.

Of course it bothers me. I think anyone should be able to do anything they want unless it infringes upon someone else's freedoms. When someone starts costing everyone else's dollars because they want to get quadruple bypasses, gain 300 pounds of blubber, etc.by eating at McD's every day, it infringes upon everyone else.

Well I think insurance premiums could be higher for people that make certain choices, but that is up the the insurance companies, not the government.
It's just too creepy having them telling us what we can eat, what we can smoke, what we can drink, who we can go to bed with, etc.. It's just an ever increasing feeling that we can allow ourselves to me told by other people what is good for us, and being forced to comply or else. Doesn't that bother you?

lol It's pretty simple really. Fat makes fat. Fried stuff is usually high in fat. Processed foods usually have a lot of unhealthy junk in them. Foods and beverages high in sucrose aren't usually good for people.
Experts in nutrition and foods could decide easily what foods aren't good for people. There's shiploads of info on foods.
Why should someone who is healthy have to pay just as much as those who abuse themselves? It's like someone who's never had a car crash having to pay just as much insurance as someone who has a crash a year.

This is why our society is so screwed up.. Obese people want to point the finger at Fast Food or government to create laws and taxes to target companies that produce goods that increase obesity or that is what they say increases obesity.. At this point, they should tax anyone that is overweight.. For every pound you pay higher and higher taxes.. Maybe that would help... Stop pointing the finger and look at a mirror.. You're FAT.. Now start taking personal responsibility on your own and your families health.. No one has a gun at your head making you go to fast food, eat a supersized meal, drink ****, etc... You also need to exercise, which many obese people now say, they have a medical condition.. I'm sure some actually do, but most have medical conditions because they're FAT... It's not going to do any good to tax, ban toys, etc... Obese people don't get it, they just want to get more and more free money from all of us tax payers so they can just eat eat and eat... I'm sick of it.. This country is getting too freaking fat...
