I've never quite understood why there are some people out there who seem to live for conflict and discord.

You know who I'm talking about;

People who actively seek out unnecessary drama, no matter what the scenario is.

They are generally rude, condescending and antagonistic when engaging others in conversation, no matter what the topic is.

They are the people who are always the contrarians in any given situation, and seem like to argue just for the sake arguing.

Many times they make incendiary statements just for the purpose of getting a reaction.

So what say you?

Are you one of those people who goes out of their way to get a rise out of others?

Or just one of those who is annoyed by those people?

arguing times incendiary statements purpose reaction people rise annoyed people

I have to apologize Melizmatic, because occasionally, when I see a post that is obviously a bare-faced lie, I will go in with my imaginary AK47 and take down their claim with the real story. I know that's kinda mean because it makes their post lose credibility, but I try to be moderate on **. Please smack me when you see me gettin' too big for my boots... thx.

No need.

My personal definition of '****** pushers' are people who actively seek out people to harass in an effort to get a negative response, completely unprovoked.

I've never seen you behave like that.

I don't Aim to Push ******* with my postings. If it does it's more on them. However if I do see a posting that is intentionally Pushing *******, I have a tendency to Push back.

Good to know. Feeling people out isn't ****** pushing, IMO.

****** pushing usually consists of maliciously baiting a person just t try to make them mad.

Then I'm afraid we can't be cool.

I have a strong dislike of people who like to 'provoke' others just for the **** of it.

Oh yes....no recreactional drugs...they are forbidden...I wouldn't anyway...don't see the point. I would lose my license if I did drugs...so...LOL...

As for ***...I am currently without a love interest....so *** is kind of not my vice...AT this moment. Who's to say what may happen in the future though....I'm optimistic.

Why can't we be cool???? I'm cool and you seem pretty cool so why can't we both be cool at the same time? There I go again pushing your ******* :) It's friday and I'm happy and I have a problem with talking to much because its never going to be 5pm. I can't wait to get out of here.

Yes, it was mean, and intentionally so.

intentionally

Kinda ***** when people do that just for the **** of it, doesnt it?

And no, you aren't alone.

I'd die of boredom without sites like **. My job consists of about 80% down time.

Same here! I just had this happen to me recently and I wanted to kick myself afterward. This also enabled the person who pushed my ******* to avoid taking responsibility for their behavior. I feel like such an idiot!

I think I'm just annoyed by those who do it. I do it in a fun way sometimes, but never to be mean.

I wouldn't consider you a '****** pusher', Bessie.

Yes, if someone tries to 'jump bad at you' you will give as good as get, but that's not the same thing.

****** pushers tend to attack people, completely unprovoked.

No. I hate drama. Real life drama, that is.7

As for Japanese dramas/TV series/English crime dramas...that's a different story.

I don't like to annoy people.
