To be honest, I'm not really feeling the Christmas spirit at all. I'm not a fan of Christmas music, some songs are good, some sound downright depressing, and some of the films are just so stupidly cheesy. I find it's just a reflection of the consumerism in culture rather than on the compassion and kindness towards all. I enjoy spending time with my family but I don't really feel any more special during this time of year than any other time of year.

I don't see any value in holidays myself, but at least I won't be negative about it towards people who do. I recently sent out Christmas cards to a couple dozen relatives...because I am fairly sure that THEY celebrate it. Not that big a deal. My message inside was basically the same, though I tried to change up the wording from card to card. "May the season bring you love, hope, joy, and peace." Nothing specific said about Christmas, and still a positive message.
