Japanese first and Korean second photo but its pretty much a pointless guess since both are loaded with make-up and filters.

I sometimes work and live in Northern China. in fact, my wife's village is pretty close to the Korean border.
Many of our neighbours are Korean ethnicity (they are Chinese but Korean if that makes sense).
Chinese most often cannot tell the difference.
Koreans cannot often tell the difference.
I'm talking about straight-up facial features (not clothing, styles etc).

Sometimes you can. There is a classic 'Japanese face' which we might say is more a 'diamond'.
There is also a 'classic Korean face' which is flatter and rounder.
There are classic 'Han Chinese faces' (maybe more squares).

It's almost the same thing as Europeans in that yes you sometimes can recognize a 'classic English face and look'.
Sometimes you can see a guy and you just KNOW he is German from his features alone.
Or you can just tell that guy is a classic 'typical Dutch face'.
However,
Actually a ******* lot of times you can't. or they 'could be' German but maybe Dutch or maybe swiss.. oh then it turns out they are actually from Ireland and your surprised.

By just looking at them, no. By hearing their names, maybe. By looking at their writing, yes.

Usually. Ive been wrong before. But facial structure is different, and of course once they talk (if they have an accent) I can tell.

If I had their name, or heard them speak in their native tongue, then yes. Otherwise, probably not.

-I can't even tell the males from females.Asians look alike to me. -What difference does it make? -i can't tell what country blacks are from either..it would help if they had some blonds and redheads thrown in,..but no-they have to be difficult.

I have asian friends and some of my cousins are Asians too so I don't really have a problem to differentiate them (most of the time)

This is my guess-only the top photo is of a Korean. They probably believe we all look alike too.

It's actually very easy to tell caucasians from different regions, except probably American and Canadian whites

both are beautiful yummy; my guess would be Japanese first, Korean Second photo; Having also lived in asia a good part of my life; you are 100 percent correct in your statement; Some times I can tell, other times not; depending on how pure the persons race also; the more the mix, the less that I can tell. ni bu shi mei gou ren, Sha ma? to most asians; white folks all look the same :))
