Truly "the greatest generation".
For those of you who like history and those of you whose
fathers may have served. There are a lot of pictures,
but it really gives you a look at what WW II was like for
those in the military.
As you look at these photos, think about what our fathers
and grandfathers sacrificed just 70 years ago;
so we could have the freedoms we enjoy today!
These photographs were classified during WWll.
Many of us have not seen photography like this before.
Beautiful, stark black and white pictures, about 110 of them,
of historical significance in this collection.
At the *** of the pics there are some interesting comments.
For many of us, our fathers and/or grandfathers participated
in this action...
World War II: The Pacific and Adjacent Theaters.

Like the Revolutionary war, WWII was a Masonic war, run by the Rothschild international bankers and the Illuminati, along with the Vatican, which supported Hitler (as did Skull&Bones; and the Bushes). FDR set Pearl Harbor up like a carrot on a stick, and the Japanese bit, for the purpose of Mason Roosevelt to help his brother Mason Churchill with the Hitler problem, which was set-up by Masons here and in Europe. Since Satan runs the Masons, he prefers the creation of Elohim dead, rather than alive.

No kidding. My dad had been a Merchant Marine captain during the war - seeing the photos reminds me of the horrors he saw as ships around him in convoys were ***** apart.

Those men who died at Pearl Harbor were betrayed by FDR.
He left them there in the harbor knowing the Japanese fleet was coming.
He had split his forces and sent his newest ships out to seas to escape harm.
He could have kept them together and sent them out to sea within range of his Hawaii based planes.
He could have sent his airplanes into the air as the Japanese approached.
He could have done that and avoided war with Japan.

FDR had no idea the Japanese were about to attack Pearl Harbor., explain to me why he would allow his Navy to be completly destroyed which meant the whole west coast was open to invasion, and if they would've caught our flattops in base which they were scheduled to come.but a freak pacific storm who's timing could not have been any better kept them out. then we would've lost the war. Remember we were 17th in the world as far as military power was concerned and we were tied with Uruguay as far as the size of our military we had a whopping military combine force of about 300,000 against the complete axis power.. them to allow them to completely wipe our Navy out then declare war would have been nothing less than futile Honest do you really believe they had more ships hiding somewhere? And another question for you is, what do you think would've happened if the fleet would've made it out of the harbor? the Japanese would've sank them all in Deepwater and five of the seven battle ships would've not been able to been raised after the attack, we would've lost 75,000 men instead of 2500. And if they would've caught our four aircraft carriers then the war would've been over at that point and we would've been soundly defeated and you and I would not be having this conversation. Th...

The only reason America survived was we were protected by *** and Defeat was transformed to victory. It FDR would have had knowledge that the battle of Midway would be in our favor six months later then everything you said could be true but who could know something like that? But without midway we would've been soundly defeated and the world would not be as it is today. FDR was evil but he wasn't stupid.

You need to read history.
FDR wanted war.
He had an 8 point plan from Lt Commander Arthur H McCollum to goad Japan to war.
He did not lose his entire filet.
He only lost some old ships.
The good ones were safely hid from sight of the Japanese.

I've read the story and not just one book. He didn't want war, but he knew war was inevitable and could not be avoided. Roosevelt knew better because we had a combined military force of 300,000 man and that included the Coast Guard and we were in no way ready to declare war on the axis powers. It's hilarious to believe Roosevelt knew he was going to win World War II with seven battleships, four aircraft carrier, and 300,000 men total.

Read Robert Stinnet's book on Pearl Harbor
Day of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor.
Pearl Harbor was not an accident, a mere failure of American intelligence, or a brilliant Japanese military coup. It was the result of a carefully orchestrated design, initiated at the highest levels of our government. According to a key memorandum eight steps were taken to make sure we would enter the war by this means. Pearl Harbor was the only way, leading officials felt, to galvanize the reluctant American public into action.

Did this plan take an account for luck? Because that's the only way we won the war. we were a defeated nation, they destroyed Pearl Harbor also on that day they took Guam and a number of our other outpost. Do you remember the Bataan death March? We had to let those soldiers die because we had no one to send to help them.we were at 300,000 men in our military in this super plan your discussing, how were we going to take a 300,000 man military and as I said earlier that even included the Coast Guard and defeat a 20 million man Battle ******** axis powers military? this number did not account for the 1 million SS troops not included. You surely realized that the first six months of war in the Pacific campaign we got our ***** kicked from one *** of the Pacific to the other. , we were 17th in the world in the military and your plans you're disgusting call for us to jump on the most powerful military might at the time. And believe me I have looked at both sides of this argument. What you're talking about is the equivalent of training a third-grader to become the heavyweight champion of the world and putting him up against Mike Tyson in his prime.

There were NO embedded reporters with access to LIVE feeds in WW2. You got permission, before you reported, DAYS or weeks after the engagement or battle. My father was a WW2 Combat vet in the South Pacific.

This should be a required course of all high school seniors before graduation to take and pass, so they truly understand what it means to be an American - to honor the freedom these men and women fought for and died for will be forever remembered.

I could imagine some of the photos, medals and old uniforms (treasures) tucked away in a footlocker in someone's attic.. And today we have only a precious view veterans left from that time and photos soon will be all we have as reminders of a time when we were a great people. That greatest generattion were nothing less than heroes because of the difficulties and be impossible odds they faced .A lot of photos that were censored because as Roosevelt said "there's nothing to fear except fear itself." At the time it was imperative we show The American people and our allies only positive images If America was to have any chance to win the war we could not instill fear in the population..Thank you Charu for bringing attention on a group of heroes who are being taken for granted these days. Someone needs to tell their true story and not ********* them with the conspiracy people who try to paint these heroes as a bunch of racists as so many often do these days. .

Thank you for the post. Unfortunately, historical postings tend to bring out the conspiracy loons and the "Blame America First" crowd. This one was no exception.

That book was written by an FDR supporter who said it was a good thing to let those men die at Pearl.

Amazon will let you read part of the book free.
