We've heard of the Heart Attack Grill in America, but have you heard of the Bear Grills Cafe in Congleston, Manchester, England? If not, you should really take a look at its menu, particularly the 8,000-calorie breakfast entree known as "The Hibernator."

Pictured, you've got a pretty standard photo of your typical breakfast: Eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans and toast. The Hibernator has all of these things -- multiplied by about 1,000.

Shutterstock.com

The dish consists of eight pieces of bacon, eight sausages, four hash browns, four fried eggs, a four-egg cheese omelette, four waffles, four pieces of toast, four pieces of fried bread, four black pudding, two servings of beans, two servings of tomatoes, mushrooms, some potato chips and a two-pint milkshake. Seriously, ***.

Coming in at 8,000 calories, the breakfast entree -- if you can still call it that -- is about four times the recommended caloric intake for one entire day, which is around 2,000 calories. Oh, and did we mention that people have to sign a disclaimer to eat the stuff?

"We have a disclaimer which says that no one under the age of 18 can take part and that they know about the very high calorific content and high fat content," restaurant owner Mark Winder says. "We ask people to understand that they know what they are getting themselves into."

What do you think of this monstrous 8,000-calorie menu item? Do you think it's an impressive accomplishment to eat such a dish? Or is it just plain awful?

No, but I've heard from family it is not the old Newport I remember. I've looked on Google maps and, Clytha Crescent doesn't even look as I remember it. It as all row houses and now only a few seem to remain. Times do change I guess.

Impressive to look at but awful to actually try to consume. I,ve been trying to stay below 1,800 calories in an entire day. I can,t imagine taking 8,000 calories by myself in just one meal. Somebody call Adam Richman ( Man vs. Food)

Not really, it's just not absolutely awful either. all they did is put 4 to 8 breakfasts on one plate (depending on who you are). You could go to your favorite restaurant and order your favorite large breakfast 4 times.

It's odd about a tidy fry up even when you are not hungry there is something about the smell of bacon, eggs etc. That gets you peckish.
Now I want a bacon and egg roll.

That is an "English/Irish" breakfast. It's not what you eat on a regular basis. This is after a pub crawl or night out at the "clubs". "thank you Uncle Paul" of Bristol Beach, England!! I would never had survived modeling without this breakfast twice a week in my youth.

That is a full English breakfast, and hey, if you don't want to eat it; no ones twisting your arm. And the one you have pictured is missing the , black pudding, mushrooms, and tomatoes.

Thank you, I was going to set some of these negative comments straight, but more fun to see how many idiots we have commenting. I suppose they wouldn't eat a meat and cheese lasagna, topped with grated cheese, and Italian bread, either.
Being raised in Wales as a *****, it was a treat, and for the rest of you we only put on our plates what we could eat. And if you're siting on you're ***** all day long not exercising it could be a bit much, you should probably stick to salads.

On the final day of our Operation Christmas ***** collection, I could use a breakfast like this, then a moderate lunch and a small dinner. That is a day of very labor intensive (volunteer) work, packing small boxes (shoe box size) into larger cartons; and then packing the cartons into a semi trailer. I definitely would not eat like this normally. That collection of food could feed me for a week under normal circumstances.

Wow. The good thing, if there is a good thing, would be able to have a doggie bag. Then this huge meal could be eaten for the next 7 or 8 days.

It depends on what you were doing before and what you plan on doing after.
On the other hand you could order one of these and a couple extra drinks (or a pitcher of OJ) and feed a family of 4-6.

It's about 7000 calories more than you need in a breakfast to call it: "a corruption meal"...

I'm only voting impressive right now because I'm freakin' starving and want to dive into my computer screen and bathe in that food.
