Boy Has 31 Fingers And Toes: Real Or Fake?

These are apparently photos of a six year-old boy born in China who has 31 fingers and toes. Each foot has 8 toes, one hand has seven fingers, and the other hand has seven fingers with one extra finger jetting out of the side of the boy's pinky. The pictures were taken right before the boy was to undergo an operation to make him have a normal 20 fingers and toes.

The photos were just released and already they're blanketing the internet. If they're real, it means that the boy broke the world record for number of fingers and toes on one person (the previous record was 25). I don't know, it looks pretty real to me.

coming from China, with the many Human rights violations from that country I am pretty sure there is some kind of radition exposure that creates this kind of *****. I am sure the government will find a way to abuse this ***** and then sell it to Wal*Mart

So, that is what it is called, polydactyly. I caught a bit of it on the news, but didn't get what condition it was called. Yes, it's a wonderful thing he has been helped. Humans can be cruel, I am glad they can't make fun of him now. I thank the wonderful doctors who helped him.

Yes it's real. It's a condition known as polydactyly, having more than five fingers per hand and five toes per foot. In a six hour surgery at a hospital in Shenyang, China, doctors were able to remove the extra toes and fingers and make him normal so ******** will stop making fun of him.

The pictures seem real enough, but to make a fake look real is what Photoshop and other graphic software programs are striving for—correct?

This many is unusual, but to have extra fingers and toes is not all that unusual. I usually runs in families from the people I have seen. When I was a kid there were several kids at school with extra fingers.
