I'll be honest with you guys: I buried all of my scrunchies in a box in the back of my closet a long time ago -- and I don't plan on opening up the stuck-in-the-'90s beauty box anytime soon. But according to the New York Post, the '90s hair accessory is back.

So what's the reason behind the revival? Celebrities, to be frank. Stars like Selena Gomez and Rita Ora have recently been snapped sporting scrunchies. Not to mention supermodel Cara Delevingne saying she loved scrunchies back in 2012.

What do you think about scrunchies being back in style? Would you -- or do you -- sport the '90s hair accessory? Or are the colorful hair ties totally not your thing?

I never knew that they had ever gone 'out of style.' I still wear them. They have many more styles than they used too....

Definitely a girl thing; have no idea what they do.

I have a few scrunchies, plus some beaded hairties, that I kept since 1998.

My sister loved scrunchies because they weren't as painful as rubberbands or those double wracking ***** that always thunked her in the head. Never worked as well as we'd hoped on beards, though.

Scrunchies do not tear my hair and makes a good bun. I have thrown them out cut my hair short, but as soon as I can pull my hair back, I buy a scrunchy.

When were they gone? All the stores still sell them and I have never stopped wearing them.

I lost more of those things than I can count. They never really stayed in my hair. I think I wore it more as a bracelet than I did in my hair.

I like when women have a bit of cuteness or flair in their hair. A scrunchie, head band (the one that goes from the ears to the top...not the 60's hippie kind), a flower off to the side.... As a long haired guy, I bought a scrunchie for the heck of it (a big orange poofie thing) I go the the bar and the women are there admiring my hair and playing with it.

I don't care if theyre "back in style". I've always worn scrunchies, they dont rip/pull my hair and they're cute.

I don't know, I never really wore one except as a little kid, but I don't remember clearly.
All I remember seeing were red, blue, white, and black scrunchies on a counter or on the floor.

I always use them when I workout or take a shower,
They are still in style for those two usages.

I don't wear scrunchies but if I wanted to I would - regardless of what some "authority on fashion" said. My body, my f***ing business!

So many memories of unable to keep the **** things in my hair, to demoting them to my wrist, to just pretending they never existed at all.

Back in style? When the heck were they ever in style? A bunch of 5 year olds wearing scrunchies does not mean something is "in style".

Well, it's not in style where I live.

There is a difference between scrunchies and a hair tie. I personally find scrunchies to typically be very juvenile so I wouldn't do it but hey, you do you, that's my personal belief.

Holy crap! I didn't get the memo when they supposedly went out of style. Good thing I do my own thing. If it works for me, I wear it!
