Most people that proclaim that they are smart are very much conceited which makes them prone to making stupid decisions. People that smart never look for second opinions because they never consider the possibility that they could be wrong. Which may not make them stupid per say, but it does make them foolish. On the other hand most people that admit they are stupid, not only show the mental capacity to know the difference, they also show that they are capable of recognizing their faults. By doing this they are capable of improving themselves, which not only makes them somewhat smart but also makes them wise. There's a considerable amount of difference between wisdom and intelligence. Which would you rather have?
