You Are a Rule Taker

You are not a big fan of rules, but you know they serve their purpose... at least following them does. You'll grit your teeth and play by the book, but that doesn't mean you like it. You just prefer following the rules to getting in trouble.

Whenever possible, you don't like to set up too many rules in your own life. There's enough rules you already have to follow. You try to be as free form and unscheduled as possible. You don't like having any extra obligations.

You tend to believe that things go more smoothly if people follow the rules. Rules aren't fun. That's why they're rules. If the rules are already in place, you will follow them. You just don't impose new rules on yourself or others.

You Are a Rule Shaker

You generally follow the rules, but every now and then you like to shake things up a bit.
You are both a rule maker and a rule breaker. You appreciate rules, but you also think they should be questioned.

You think rules generally promote social order, and you're in favor of them - in principle.
You also know, though, that rules can become outdated or irrelevant. You are willing to break a rule if you think there is cause to.

You maintain flexibility with the rules you set up for yourself and others in your life. You aren't too strict about anything.
In your opinion, there is always a middle ground. It's often best just to use your judgment instead of following a particular rule.

You Are a Rule Maker
You are big on following and even making up rules.
Rules mean order, and you're a big fan of order.
It pains you to break a rule, and you rarely do so.
Even if a rule is dumb or nonsensical, you follow it.
You agree that rules are a drag at times,
but you feel like you've done well for yourself by playing by the rules.
You think that if the rules aren't right any longer, we should change them systematically. That's more stable than just breaking them.
You like to make rules for yourself to follow in order to live a good life.
You work well with structure.
You are as good at making rules as you are at following them.
You know how to set things up for yourself.
