Without a doubt. Cancer still kills a lot of people and causes unbelievable suffering.

The only way I would say Ebola would be something to fear more than cancer if it ever truly became an epidemic.

And later when they tell me about it in detail I'll apologize profusely... really...I had no idea...seemed sooo nice... And meanwhile I'll be laughing inside...

I'll charm your family...except that it takes them some time to stop staring at my pretty much see-thru chiffon blouse - no bra....:)

Sukie where did u come up with this ? Thats like trying to choose between **** and spending time at a family reunion. .

**** or a family reunion? Interesting...surfercrab...which one would u pick?

Hmmm ??? Quite the conundrum Sukie my dear. .. my logic seems to think to choose ****.. Since I am pretty sure I have a job waiting there for me. . The family reunion would just make me want to stab my own eardrums out with a ****** knife. . And I have already made a pact with the devil himself so's not to spend eternity with any of my relatives.. up in heaven ( because that would be an even worse version of **** ) and the reason why most of my extended family will probably get to heaven is..*** feels sorry for really stupid people.. : )

Just watch out for Mouse brain uncle Eddie. .he starts howling at the sight of an incredibly gorgeous girl ..so if u see someone who's face gives a whole new meaning to mummification. .well that would be him.. not to worry he usually cant run that fast and he will get sidetracked and latch onto just about anything to satisfy his lust ..be it a chair , someones hat.... a spiral ham...whatever. : )

I'll watch out for Eddie. Thanx for the heads up.

Meanwhile you can get skunk-drunk at our family affair and they'll write you off as being one of 'Sukie's friends...you know...'

Ha..well I will just burst in ..dead silence overtakes the room ..murmured whispers of who's that ? ...and in a phoney southern US accent ..I will yell.. " hey ya'll ! " I'm Sukies friend from down yonder ! ..and by *** I'm here to git drunker en a ******* skunk !!

Most cancers are slow and can be beaten back where as Ebola will kill 50 to 70 percent and do that pretty quick.

More people in America will be effected by Cancer than Ebola.

If I was sick with either one of these, I think I would suffer longer with cancer.

The odds of developing cancer are significantly greater than acquiring Ebola - PRESENTLY, but that is always subject to change. Currently there are treatments for cancer, some of which are quite successful. Ebola ... not so much. Ebola, then, would be more formidable but less likely opponent. Reverse that for cancer.

The Ebola vaccine is likely to be worse.
Oxygen from Sodium Bicarbonate kills both cancer and Ebola. Take 2 hours after dinner.
Vitamin C in 100 gram per day IV doses cured polio after 7 days in the 1950s. (That is a *****'s dose.)
Vitamin D3 in large doses and cinnamon reduces winter colds and flu. It has the side effect of cutting cancer risks. People who worked at a cinnamon bottling plant did not die from the Spanish flu that killed at least 21 million people.

Good to know. I love cinnamon.

You also need D3.

You have a much, much higher risk of contracting cancer than Ebola. Cancer is far ****** to avoid.

Apples and oranges. The two are very dissimilar diseases, so I don't see how they can be compared. I don't want either one.

Over 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. You can get cancer from the foods you eat, or from smoking, or from sunlight, or from just living, even if you avoid all risk factors and eat an exemplary diet. Many cancers have mortality rates far higher than Ebola:
Pancreatic cancer – 94%
Liver cancer – 83.9%
Lung cancer – 83.4%
Esophageal cancer – 82.7%
Stomach cancer – 72.3%

if you avoid the bodily fluids of infected people, you can avoid Ebola.

I'd say cancer is a much more sensible illness to be afraid of.

Cancer has killed exponentially more people here in the United States. Ebola, however, is the latest scare in terms of a contagion.

It's too early to tell.

Cancer is deadly and can sometimes be cured, but isn't contagious.
Ebola has no vaccine/cure and is contagious.

This is not a good "apples to apples" comparison. While some believe that cancer and be communicated under certain extended conditions that is extremely rare and unproven, also, it progresses slowly. On the other hand EBOLA is indeed contagious. Additionally, it is aggressive. Note how quickly some have died from it. Currently there are less than thirty beds in the entire nation capable of safely handling EBOLA patients. BIG difference from cancer, that can be treated all over the nation!

My grandfather lived 8 years after he was diagnosed with cancer the doctors said would kill him within 6 months, Mr. Duncan didn't fair near as well. My Dad is still alive after being diagnosed with melanoma cancer in 2001 after having half of his ear cut off and refusing chemo. Ebola has a 70% death rate, I know a lot more people who survived a cancer diagnosis than 30%, I have 3 aunts and a grandmother who survived ****** cancer.

Ebola is most dangerous when used as a political tool, as we are seeing in America!

Everyone is born with cancer cells. Ebola is avoidable, and cures are being created for it.

It just seems to me ebola, hits quick,**** and fast, and with cancer the odds may be against you , but you still have a fighting chance.

It depends heavily on what type of cancer you have. A friend of a friend was diagnosed with cancer recently and died within 2 weeks.
It is also much, much easier to avoid Ebola. And the survival rate for this strain of 30% is much higher than survival rates for types of cancer like liver, lung, esophageal, stomach or pancreatic cancer.
