Humans have *** too, but unlike animals, we also have shame, which causes us to come up with cutesy little euphemisms for personal subjects that we are too embarrassed to discuss openly...

That's just because most humans have trouble accepting that humans are not as different from other animals as we'd like to think we are.

We are still in our infancy when it comes to really knowing about animal behavior . There is much to learn. It is obvious when one examines the cruelty we exhibit to some of the even more sentients like whales and dolphins that are slaughtered for sport and so called research, only to be sold to restuarants for consumption.

Your right, I had forgotten about those little pervs. Particularly with Baboons it’s an indication of dominance for a male to mount a female(s) (if they cooperate that is), and with the female it secures her rank within the group, and that of her offspring, to be mounted and/or impregnated by the dominate male.

I would think that would depend on what your definition of making love is...there are some animals that mate for life...you'd think they at least liked each other... (making like?)

iff they were how could other animals have babies

We just call it that. It sounds more acceptable than "Hey babe, let's have some ***!"

Many animals form lifelong, loving relationships, such as swans, gibbons, wolves, and turtle doves.

If by "make love" you mean having *** for pleasure and not for reproduction, there is a cousin of the chimpanzee called the bonobo who is the animal with the closest genetical code to the humans. The bonobo has *** any season, even if its not possible to have ******** in that season. They also mate. This would be closest to what you call "making love", since making love is not and has never been clearly defined.

*** and love can either be together or separate.
I see them as something to go together - in other words, having *** with someone you love.
That doesn't mean, however, you have *** with someone therefore you love them.

Humans have more than just physical needs. We have emotional needs as well.

Dolphins also have *** for pleasure.
And if the males can't find a female they use each others ****-*****.

Animals only have *** because its nature not because they love each other, humans have feelings and we get to choose who we fall in love with.

:O so the three smartest animals on the planet are the ones that have *** for fun!

Actually Dolphins have *** purely for the fun of it. Other than humans, they’re the only ones that do.

Like your little picture said. "Love is like two meerkats cuddling in a cave or something"

There is a huge difference between making of the love and having ***.

making love as in ***? I think that is unique to humans.

other animals do NOT make love through ***.

And here are MANY REASONS why:

### 1.) Most animals dont even have the capacity to realize what *** is. It's purely instinct. A chemical drive, like eating and sleeping. And the fact that some mate right when meeting each other, and mate with countless others of their species suggest that they don't "make love" with ***.

People are always like, "of course animlas have *** for pleasure and love of course!!!"

But what people do not realize is that animals do NOT think the same way as humans. Again, for animals it is purely instinct, for the most part.

### 2.) As humans, we have developed the ABILITY to go AGAINST our INSTINCT. Guys can choose not to have *** when a girl is in "heat" and have *** with her when she isn't. I think that is why *** feels good to us. For nature to ensure that HUMANS keep having *** and keep procreating, pleasure is thrown in there to make us WANT to do it.

We can easily go against our instinct to reproduce. I mean common, contraception people!!! Most animals can't, because their brains aren't as developed/sophisticated. Rather, they are programmed to follow instinct so they survive.

[Same idea with eating - If we didn't experience pleasure while eating, it...

[Same idea with eating - If we didn't experience pleasure while eating, it would just become a hassle for us and we wouldnt want to do it so much.
The fact that we feel good when we eat ensures that we WILL eat. Because humans can go against instinct, nature has come up with other ways to make sure we survive.

I mean have you ever met an annorexic animal with food surrounding them? I think not!]

### 3.) How can animals think anything of making love/*** when they dont have the mental ability to like we do? Dammit, most animals DON'T even have a SENSE OF SELF!!! (proof: they are unable to recognize themselves in the mirror. Baby humans can do so by the age of 18 months. However, intelligent animals like dolphins and elephants also can recognize themselves.)

HOWEVERRRR!!!! I think dolphins and bonobos might....they are smart and are seen mating even when it is not possible for the female to get pregnant. They definitely have *** for fun. so its possible.

But no, I strongly think that animals in general do NOT "make love". At least through ***. Not nearly to the extent that we do.

Some animals mate for life, but again, they dont have the capacity to realize what is truly going on, and are just doing what they are programmed to do.

I've done a lot of reaserch on this because I am passionate about the idea of human *** being unique and our own thing. I wanted to know the closest to the truth.

So when it all boils down to it, I full-heartedly think humans are special :)

I think there was a study somewhere that dolphins did it for pleasure as well as humans.

It has something to do with higher brain function or something. Or just because we like to get to humpin'. Us, and dolphins.

Well animals have *** to produce offspring.
Humans can do the same, but we feel more of a connection and we love our partners

only hummans think that they are hummans, byt we are just another species of animals

we are extremely special "animals" though.

humans have characteristics that are unique to us, only us, and that no other species can ever share.

We ARE humans. Biologically, we are animals. Mentally, we are not.

Some animals mate for life including wolves and geese . There must be more to it than we presently understand for this to happen ! Remember - When your not with the one you love, love the one your with ! LOL : }
