Mother's Day is fast-approaching -- it's on May 10th for anyone who still needs to put it on the calendar -- and we were wondering how many of you are getting ol' mommy dearest a gift.

Giving mom a bouquet of flowers, a sweet card and maybe some breakfast in bed is usually what goes down come Mother's Day. But do you also plan to give your mom a gift on top of all that? Or is that way too much consumerism for you to handle? Share your Mother's Day plans in the comments section below!

Already bought cards for my mother as well as both of my grandmothers. Maybe I'll top that with a box of chocolate, although I'm hesitant about this since my mother is too obsessed about her weight.

We will be giving her breakfast and cards. Plus I bought her a shirt that she has had her eyes on for a bit.

I always buy my mother a mother's day gift. I'm taking her to the mall this week
so she can pick out whatever she needs. I spoil my mother.

I didn't give my mother a gift even when she was alive. My wife will receive gifts from her ******** from a previous marriage, but not from me.

I'm making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do... http://www.jobs-review.com

If you make over $7K a month, why don't you use some of that sweet dollar to buy your mom a mothers day gift?

Normally for my mom I get her a nice Birthday/Christmas present (her birthday is on xmas) but I get her a fantastic Mother's Day gift. The last few years though I've run out of ideas so I've called her. This year I'm going to stop by her house on Saturday since she'll be gone all Sunday and I'll hang out for an hour or two, give her some flowers.

For my wife, my mom's dead. Got her the S-6 phone and a new 2015 Nissan (straight off the line, with only 11 miles on it); we're also taking her out for Japanese food on that day. That ought to make her day and score me some points.

My mother is a terrible person who should rot in jail and hopefully will rot there. I'll be spending my day with my family

My mother is by far the person I have the most resentment toward in life, for she is mainly responsible for forcing the unfortunate state of existence upon me. I'll forever resent her sorry *** for forcing life on me and thus subjecting me to the pain and suffering of existence.

Well, then again. I might send her a copy of David Benatar's Better Never to Have Been: The Harm of Coming into Existence just to slap her in her sorry face.

I will be buying my mother some flowers and taking them down to the grave site and spend some time with her and dad next Sunday. Tis something I have not done in a couple of years and it weighs upon mine heart heavily... mee

I wish I could.

I use to purchase a gift every year for both my mom and my grandmother, but they are now both deceased. =(

I am making one. I usually do anymore as my mom's only real interest (outside of handmade) now is expensive horse stuff I cannot afford. I prefer things with a personal touch anyways

Well, I would if I still had one. Considering all the crap your mom puts up with to raise you, I would highly encourage all of you to do so.

I get paid over $87 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is *******. Heres what I've been doing,

My mother is gone and I think it's insulting to buy my wife a mothers day present . She's not my mother .
