We hear about how big Businesses are having trouble but has anyone noticed that the small Businesses are dropping like flies?

Have you noticed, as you are walking down the street, more and more small Businesses are gone?

And what about the people who have places to rent for these small Businesses? One one is renting from them.

What dose this mean?

Soon you will have no choice but to deal with the "big boys" only, buying only what they have to offer.

No more cute little shops with handmade items, No more going to the corner store to pick up bread and milk, No more cute little places to eat that are not part of the "chain."

What does this mean.....The BIG BOYS WIN.....

I have a small business that started out my husband and I and a few employees. It is now down to just me. There are very few left. And those that are left are often holding on by their fingernails!
I do what I can by shopping locally and I frequent the Mom and Pops.
Great post!

Everyone is moving toward "Globalization."
In my own small stand against it, I am supporting my community first.
LOL I am really jonesing for a pizza as we speak. I have to wait 15 more minutes to order though, the Mom and Pop next door to the chain pizza store isn't open yet...I've been waiting even though the chain store has been open for hours. Funny thing is, the Mom and Pop has better pizza, is cheaper and they definitely go the extra mile for their customers.

That is what is so great about "Ma and Pa" shops....most times they are better and worth the wait. Bet their pizza is better for you than the chain one.

LOL
I had called early, thinking maybe they opened early with the holiday and rain...they hadn't. I no sooner posted my last answer and they called me. They have done this before, they check the caller ID and call people back. Things like that you don't get with the chain stores or big-box stores.

Hey Ladies and Gentleman,
It is truley sad to see so many small business's losing out to the greedy big boys. I'm working on something that will at least help thye small business take a stand against the big boys through my own cheap but quality form of advertisment designed for the small business. You may take advantage of it or not. The small guys should have a voice and I aim to give that to them.
