In most states it IS a crime the person can be charges with anything from felony ******* to attempted murder depending.. on the circumstances

People do lie, think about that.

I'm baffled about the logic of the question. So, they are sleeping together and not having ****** *********** and the others also have AIDS, but are unaware of the fact that they have it... Doesn't make much sense to me. I would prosecute Rusty for a really weird question.

What's weird about it? In your opinion should a person be prosecuted for knowing they have Aids and spreading it to others?

The question doesn't say anything about spreading AIDS. If other people have AIDS and I'm merely sharing the same bed with them doesn't mean I should be prosecuted for having a bit of shut-eye. Why don't the "victims" know they already have AIDS in the first place? That's the real question, as the exact format suggests.

Asking a precise question does require certain amount of... How would I put this nicely... Thinking.

Really? Never. That would be unheard of.

Yes they have. In Canada we have had 2 such cases and both are in prison.

The victims do not know because they are never told. HIV is not visible.

If they already have HIV to begin with, they can't be infected again.

You have seriously poor reading comprehension skills.

The victim would not have HIV to begin with. You missed that point.

"A person infected with Aids sleeps with others without informing them they have Aids." The word "they" being the plural form and therefore not referring to the accused, but the others. Therefore, they already have AIDS and the accused is simply snoring next to them.

You are obviously having issues understanding basic English.
The word 'they' is being used as a third person pronoun.

So, using a plural form as a reference to an individual is actually alright, under those circumstances. Nice to know. I could teach you some Finnish, as that's my primary language. I just hope you don't flunk the basics.

There was a case some years ago in NY, involving a **** who had infected literally several dozen women!

and there are some defendants who seem to enjoy seeing how many partners they can afflict.

This is a crime, and the offender CAN be prosecuted.

Yes because they know they have a deadly disease that can give it to there lover.

It is the same thing as attempted murder. You are trying to give the one you sleep with a death sentence.

When he/she is already doomed to die what to do

That is obviously an irresponsible and malicious thing to do and somebody who is mean enough to do that deliberately should be prosecuted and dealt with very severely by the Law.

The choices you give are difficult. Naturally it should be a crime and in some country's it is and in the country's where it id the perpetrators should be prosecuted.

you'v just ruined someones life that should not go unpunished

Yep! They should be dumped in the ocean from a helicopter if someone comes down with HIV because of it.

you could use exactly the same reasoning when talking about a restaurant that does not keep its premises clean if you put stuff in your mouth that will make you sick it is your own fault.
The same could be said about herpes 1 ( cold sores) that is passed on by the kisses of loving parents and relatives a disease that can kill.

Absolutely it should!

This is why people need to have protected *** and both partners should go to the clinic together and get tested for STD's. Never have *** with someone before finding out what they have. If you don't know their ****** past or history that shows how much you really don't know about each other and therefore shouldn't be having *** in the first place.

Unfortunately, most people infected with AIDS won't tell their new partner that's why it's important to stay protected and not open your legs to every guy or girl you meet.

If you love yourself then protect yourself.

Yes...and some have been prosecuted for it. At the very least it is the crime of reckless ************.

I used it because I did not know the gender of the person.

I am not interested in learning Finnish. I already am fluent in 3 languages.
